Professional Bio
Sergeant First Class Chris DeJesus is a Field Artilleryman with the Utah Army National Guard, serving since 2011. A 13B Cannon Crewmember, he has served in key leadership positions including Section Chief and Platoon Sergeant, leading and developing Soldiers while maintaining a strong focus on technical and tactical proficiency within the Field Artillery community.
Throughout his career, SFC DeJesus has earned multiple military awards and distinctions, including recognition as the Distinguished Honor Graduate of his Advanced Individual Training class. In 2023, he participated in Exercise African Lion in Morocco, where his crew earned Top Gun honors. In 2026 he finished as the Honor Graduate in his Platoon/Gunnery Sergeant SLC class.
He is passionate about developing the next generation of Field Artillery Soldiers and NCOs, strengthening the profession, and preserving the traditions and camaraderie of the Kings of Battle.
