Professional Bio

In 2001, he entered the Hellenic Army Academy, where he graduated in 2005 as a Second Lieutenant of Artillery.
He has served in artillery combat units, operating PzH 2000 howitzers and MLRS, and has served as a G3 Operations Officer in a self-propelled M-109 FA BN. Additionally, he has served at the Artillery School as an instructor, and after graduating from the Army War College, he served as a staff officer in the Hellenic Army General Staff, J35 Operations. After graduating from the Supreme Joint War College, he served as a staff officer G3 in the Artillery Command of the 50th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and subsequently as Battalion XO in an self-propelled FA BN. At present, he serves as a staff officer at the SHAPE Headquarters in Mons, Belgium.
He has attended all the basic schools of his Weapon and additionally the FA CCC (03 – 2017) at Fort Sill. He holds a master's degree in "Governance, Development, and Security in the Mediterranean" from the University of the Aegean in Rhodes, a master's degree in "International Relations and Security" from the University of Macedonia, and a "Defense Studies" degree from the Institute of International Relations of Panteion University. He is married and has two sons, aged 15 and 12.
