Professional Bio
Over his distinguished career, SFC MacDonald has served in a wide range of assignments including 2/116th Field Artillery, 73rd Field Hospital, 345th Combat Support Hospital, 6250th U.S. Army Hospital, 121st Combat Support Hospital, Tripler Army Medical Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Madigan Army Medical Center, Regional Health Command-Pacific, 16th Hospital Center, and the 528th Field Hospital. His leadership positions have spanned Cannon Crew Member, Team Leader, Healthcare NCO, Practical Nurse NCO, Renal Dialysis NCO and NCOIC, Course NCOIC, Instructor/Writer, Nephrology Services NCOIC, CSM Executive Assistant, Operations NCO, Detachment Sergeant, and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Deputy Commander of Quality and Safety.
His professional military education includes the Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, AMEDD Junior Leader Course, Combatives Level I, Basic Instructor Course, and the Dialysis Specialty Course. In addition to his military training, SFC MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Purdue University.
