KEYNAN OUTLAW

SFC Outlaw has over 14 years of experience in Field Artillery and has participated in countless section and collective level training events. As a PFC he was assigned to 1st Platoon, Charlie Troop, 1-89 Cavalry Regiment and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from January 2013 until October 2013. While stationed at FOB Rushmore in the Pactika Province, he was the Forward Observer for 1st Platoon Charlie Troop. His mission with 1st Platoon Charlie was to conduct Security Force Advisory and Assistance Team (SFAAT) Offensive Operations. He was the Joint Fires Observer (JFO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the 1st Squadron 89th Cavalry Regiment that resulted in the execution of over one hundred Close Air Support (CAS) and Air Attack Aviation (AAA) fire missions. His additional duties were as Fire Support Non Commissioned Officer (FSNCO), Infantry Team Leader, and Radio Telephone Operator (RTO)
SSG Outlaw was later assigned to Bravo Troop 1-89 CAV October 2014 where he became the FSNCO. Which then later deployed to Helmand Province from August 2015 until March 2016. SSG Outlaw has also deployed with Delta Company 4-31 Infantry from 2018-2019 and again with Bravo Company, 1-87 Infantry in 2019. He has conducted reconnaissance missions and air assault operations deep to strike targets with artillery and Close Air Support. SSG Outlaw has held multiple positions to include RTO, FO, Company FSNCO, Targeting NCO, and BN FSNCO
His current awards and badges include the Army Commendation Medal 2 Oak Leaf Cluster (OLC), Army Commendation Medal 1 Oak Leaf Cluster with Combat (C) device, Army Achievement Medal 2 OLC, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 3 Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon 1 OLC, NATO ISAF Medal, Good Conduct Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Combat Action Badge, and Expert Rifle Marksmanship Badge
