Professional Bio

Jose R. Rodriguez is a dedicated civil servant with the Department of Defense, currently supporting the AMCOM Fleet Management Expansion (FMX) in service of the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill Oklahoma. A native of El Paso, Texas, Jose transitioned to civil service following a distinguished 14-year career in the U.S. Army.
During his military tenure, Jose rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant, specializing in M109 Howitzer Turret Mechanic and later as a lead Instructor/Writer for the U-6 Weapons Maintenance Course. His service includes key deployments in support of Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Ar-Ramadi. Today, he leverages over three decades of tactical and technical expertise to maintain the readiness of the Army’s artillery fleet.
