Professional Bio
After graduating from FA Captains Career Course and completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Catherine was assigned to 428th Field Artillery Brigade (428 FAB) first in 1st Battalion, 30th Field Artillery Regiment (1-30 FA) as a commandant-select FA BOLC Gunnery Instructor. She taught three sections with a 100% pass rate, all during a COVID-19 pandemic environment, and produced two International Distinguished Honor Graduates. Next, Catherine served in 2nd Battalion, 2nd Field Artillery Regiment (2-2 FAR, "Big Deuce!"), Alpha Battery as a Battery Commander. In 2021, Catherine was selected as a finalist for the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award.
After completion of Battery Command, Catherine completed her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The Graduate School of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University. She was selected as a USSYP Military Mentor in 2024 and Senior Military Mentor for 2025 (in-person).
