He served in positions Advanced Party, Ammo Track Driver, Howitzer Driver, Gunner, Assistant Gunner, Ammunition Chief, Section Chief, Forward Observer, Battle NCO and Liaison Officer. On weapon systems M109A2, M109A4, M109A6, and M777. He is an awardee of as an Honor Graduate during his BNCOC phase.
His great grandfather was a redleg during WWI. His unit was out of Kansas, B Battery 29th FA.
He volunteers with the VFW, USO, Red Cross, Retiree Council and American Legion.
