Professional Bio

Colonel Anthony J. Naples, Logistics, U.S. Army Reserve – Retired is the former Deputy Commanding Officer, 364th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Marysville, WA.

Colonel Naples assignments include Chief of Staff of the 451st ESC; Commander, 89th Sustainment Brigade, Kansas City, MO.; and Strategic Information Operations /Cyber Warfare Planner, HQ NORAD and U.S. Northern Command. Colonel Naples is the former commander of 3d Battalion 290th Regiment (Combat Support/Combat Service Support), 120th Infantry Brigade, First US Army. Colonel Naples served as the Logistics Automation Branch Chief for the 377th Theater Support Command/Coalition Forces Land Component Command in support of OPERATIONS IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM, from November 2004 until October 2005. Colonel Naples other assignments included command and staff positions as a Logistician, Armor and Artillery Officer in the 42d Infantry Division, 38th Infantry Division, 49th Armored Division, 75th Division (Training Support), 95th Division (Institutional Training) and the 85th Support Command.

Colonel Naples enlisted as a Cavalry Scout in February 1985, and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, Armor from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York on 15 May 1987. He holds a Bachelor of Science - Management Information Systems from Canisius, a Master of Science – Telecommunications Management from Oklahoma State University, and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.

Colonel Naples held functional area qualifications in Information Systems Management, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Operations, was a member of the Army Acquisition Workforce, an Army Space Enabler and a Joint Planner.

Colonel Naples awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with six oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
