The Parade

The military parade provides a distinct alternative to a purely social function. It is the least expensive but requires the most coordination. The ceremonial aspect of the parade often gives the celebration of Saint Barbara's Day a tone of high importance. The disadvantage is that it doesn't allow for prolonged socializing.
