Professional Bio
In April 2008 he reported to Battery C, 1/12 in Kaneohe Bay, HI for duty as FDC and deployed in September of 2008 to Al Taqaddum, Iraq in support of OIF. In March 2010 Huck deployed to Okinawa, Japan for UDP 10-1.
In April 2011 Huck reported to Battery I, 3/10 as Assistant Ops Chief at Camp Lejeune, NC, which later transferred to the 1/2 Battalion Landing Team. In January 2012 he deployed with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participating in numerous exercises and operations in Kuwait, Jordan, Djibouti, and Morocco.
In May 2013, 3/10 retired their colors, and Battery I was attached to 1/10. Sergeant Huck served as the Battery Ops Chief and Platoon Sergeant in 2013 where he led through two Regimental Fire Exercises at Fort Bragg, NC and mountain training at MWTC, Bridgeport, CA. In April 2014 Huck transferred to HQ Btry, 1/10 serving as the Battalion Assistant Ops Chief.
In December 2014 Sergeant Huck checked in to Recruiting Station Des Moines, IA as a production recruiter in Omaha, NE. In 2017 Huck was assigned as the Officer Selection Assistant at Iowa State University.
In May 2018, Staff Sergeant Huck checked into Target Acquisition Platoon, 10th Marines as the RADAR Target Processing Center Chief. In August 2019, Huck checked into Weapons Company 1/8 as the 81mm Mortar Platoon Sergeant. Gunnery Sergeant Huck was selected for Warrant Officer and attended Warrant Officer Basic Course in Quantico, VA in January 2021.
Following his training at Quantico, Warrant Officer Huck attended Target Acquisition Officer Basic Course at Fort Sill, OK in June 2021. Upon graduation, he received orders and checked into 1/11.
