| 9-1-04: The United States Field Artillery Association (USFAA) is pleased to
announce that it has established the USFAA Foundation - a tax exempt,
501c(3) Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage the
donation of tax deductible contributions to support scholarships for USFAA
members and their immediate family members. “The United States Field Artillery Association board supports scholarship initiatives that encourage our members and their families to attain the highest level of education and training and that is why we created the Foundation,” says MG(R) Lee Baxter, President of the USFAA. “The Board of Directors hopes that the Foundation’s donations will expand to help continue to meet the educational needs of its members.” Anyone can contribute to the Foundation. “Honor-ariums and memorials are excellent ways to honor our fellow USFAA members as well as provide for the current and future educational needs of the USFAA community,” says Amy Ewing-Holmstrom, Managing Director of the USFAA. The fund can receive cash contributions as well as non-cash contributions, such as marketable securities, at any time and in any amount. Contributions should be made payable to the USFAA Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 33027, Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73503.
